Anniversary weekend!

We went to Chris's grandparents cabin on Hood Canal last weekend for our 1 year anniversary. I can't believe that it's already been a whole year since the wedding! We had a really relaxing weekend at the cabin. The weather wasn't the greatest but it was nice to get away for awhile.

Chris, as usual, couldn't wait to give me my anniversary gift so we did those on friday night. He got me a Nikon D60 camera! I had mentioned that I wanted a D40 but he found a great deal on the D60 (which is a better camera than the D40) so he got that one instead!! I'm so excited to use it! I made Chris a card that told him that he could pick out a BBQ. He's been wanting one for the last year (ever since he redid our deck) and just thought that he'd have to wait another year or two to get one.

It was raining saturday so we drove down to the Black Lake Mall in Olympia because Chris needed new work jeans. So we poked around there for a few hours and then came back to the cabin and hung out.

When we woke up on Sunday Chris was itching to get back home so that we could go to Home Depot and pick out his BBQ. So we packed up and cleaned the cabin and headed back... we left the cabin around 10am! Talk about early!!!

So I got my camera, and Chris got his BBQ. Both were things that we had accepted we wouldn't be getting for awhile longer. :)
