Found this on another blog...

How far along? 27wks, 0 days
Total weight gain/loss: up 15lbs (still on the low end of what's average)
Maternity clothes? Tops, but I just got my first set of mat. jeans (Thanks mom!!!)
Stretch marks? A couple on the sides of my hips - they can be covered with a swimsuit
Sleep: Not much lately. Carver wakes up if I switch to my right side. So I'm stuck laying on my left side ALL NIGHT LONG! This leads to a sore back.
Best moment this week: Sent in registration for our childbirth class, *hopefully* buying our crib mattress (Thanks Gramma Pat for buying it for us!)
Movement: More rolling than kicking. Still getting hiccups every day.
Food cravings: donuts
Gender: Still a boy
Labor Signs: none yet thankfully
Belly Button in or out? flat and shallow. Suspicious that it will pop out soon.
What I miss: El Pueblito margaritas
What I am looking forward to: Gestational Diabetes test in a couple weeks, blood draws (can you tell I'm being sarcastic?)
Weekly Wisdom: If your house is dirty, get used to it. You won't have time soon anyway
Milestones: Officially being in my 3rd - and final - trimester

Dr appt, switching trimesters... lots of changes

So we had a Dr appt yesterday. I had the usual (weight, blood pressure and pee in a cup) along with getting my belly measured and hearing the heartbeat. The dr says that Carver is still growing on schedule (even though some people seem to think that's he's huge). I have to get 3rd trimester lab work done and have my Gestational Diabetes test in three weeks. The GD test consists of a fasting for 12hrs, then drinking a lovely sugary drink (within 5min I might add) and then getting my blood drawn EXACTLY one hour after drinking the drink. Fun stuffs. Anyways, the dr wants me to do this a week before my next appt so that the results will be in at my appt.

When the nurse gave me the information and GD drink, we also got a diaper bag with lots of goodies in it! We will probably keep that diaper bag stocked and in the trunk of my car for emergencies.

Well, today marks my last day in 2nd trimester. Tomorrow I am officially in my THIRD TRIMESTER!!! Its kind of scary to think that this pregnancy is almost over and Carver will be here soon. We still have a lot to do before he gets here but we're counting down the days (ahem... 93 left) until we get to meet our little monkey.

We've got baby showers scheduled and in the planning mode. I'm not being allowed to help with a lot of it but it should be fun. We are also going to register for our birthing class that will be a full day in May. There's lots of stuff that needs to be done in the next 13 weeks but we're up for the challenge!

26 Weeks

Carver LOVES rolling around in my belly. He does that more than he kicks. I'm feeling pretty good still. I have back pain and my sciatic nerve acts up every once in a while. Fun! We go to the doctor again on monday and it'll be interesting to see how much I've gained. Between my last two appts I gained 8lbs! and if the ParaMed lady's scale is accurate, I've already gained 6lbs since Feb 20th. We are getting life insurance so we had to have a ParaMed lady come to the house to do a basic workup (blood pressure, medical history and pee in a cup... oh what fun!).

The weather has been... interesting lately. Sunday morning we had 4inches of snow on the ground when we left for church. I love it, but it messes up Chris's work schedule. He's had to push some jobs off until next week because of the weather. So... he's installing a sprinkler system in part of our yard. :)

Jake's birthday is on Friday and he's turning the big 18!!! My little brother is growing up! :(

Thats about it for now. I need to get back to office work. ick!
