Dear Carver,
Today you turned 2 years old. These last two years have flown by! I remember the day that we found out we were pregnant with you, the day we found out you were a boy, and the day we brought you home from the hospital. These last two years have been the best of my life. You continually challenge me to be a better person, mom and wife to your daddy. You have me twisted around your cute little finger and I wouldn't have it any other way. Your smile lights up the room and makes a bad day better.
I love you with all I am. And I am proud to be your mom.

Carver's Birthday!!!
We had Carver's 2nd birthday party today. It rained, of course, in true birthday fashion (it was raining the day he was born and at his party last year). But that didn't deter us from having fun. A lot of Carver's friends came and it was a blast seeing all the kids play together. Tomorrow we have Chris's softball game and other than that, we're going to lay low. :)
The banner I made for the party. :)
We had hard hats for all the kids to wear.
Opening presents!
Eating his birthday cupcake with Nana
Eating cupcake #2 at his new table and chair from Nana and Charlie! This will be perfect for doing puzzles!
Carver's birthday shirt. Gotta love Etsy!
Golf clubs from Auntie, Uncle Greg and baby cousin
Easel so Carver can craft while mama does. ;) From Nana and Charlie
Playing with his BBQ from Chris and me
Mini Hello Cupcakes for the kids
Regular size for the adults. We got a variety but I forgot to take a picture until the end

Birthday Invitations
Busy, busy, busy...
I've been super busy with getting ready for Carver's birthday this weekend. Tomorrow is his party and his actual birthday is on Sunday (Father's day). I'll try to post more information later but I'm a crazy cleaning lady right now. :)

Memorial Day Weekend 2011
We spent Memorial Day weekend at Wildhorse Canyon (now called Washington Family Ranch) for Family Camp. It was a GREAT weekend and we didn't want to leave! Chris had never been to a Young Life camp so it refreshing to see camp through his eyes since I've been to WHC about 20 million times (literally). It was a great change of pace to not have cell reception or internet access. I actually had a quiet time while the boys napped every day!
So in all, it was GREAT! (getting sick of that word? haha)
watching daddy go down the zip line
playing in the pool
my heart
Watching daddy on the Screamer
At the top!
LOVE mom's face!
The whole camp
awww how cute!
Showing off his new YL shirt
The best family picture we got. Carver didn't want to smile
The county fair on the last night (why we're dressed up in western wear)
nom nom popocorn
I was a half second late on catching Sarah's flash
The one game that Carver 'played'
I strongly recommend family camp to everyone and I think that our friends, Marita and Shaun, will go with us next year! Yay!
